My goal for these projects was to capture the look and feel for a company or the body copy of text. I created the covers for books and magazines with an approach that would blend my creative vision with the subject matter to work together in conveying a message.
BOOK COVERS
These are three variations of two different book covers. The variations consist of type-based, image-based, and combination-based covers that were created in Adobe Illustrator and then mocked up on to an actual book in Adobe Photoshop.
ANNUAL REPORT & STYLE GUIDE
When creating the style guide for Pacsun I researched the culture and age demographic of the company for a look and feel of what I wanted to accomplish. Once I gathered that information I then organized it into the style guide that was to be applied to the to the company's annual report. The goal was to take vital information from
their annual report which was only text, and redesign and format it into a visually stimulating report that spoke to the company's image. All while staying with in the parameters of the style guide guidelines. Both the annual report and style guide were created in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
