The insights that I received from my time and interactions with the team were very valuable in helping me maintain the student athlete point-of-view while creating this project. I learned certain rules and regulations involving media and college athletics; there are specific guidelines that have to be met. While working with the team I also learned that the life of a student athlete is a full-time commitment that can be difficult to maintain without time management skills. The ladies on the team were required to participate in many activities the stretch beyond practices and games.While gathering voice recordings from the ladies and their perspective on this very demanding life; I was able to get candid insight about how each one of them navigate the student athlete life style.
